The UK-Africa trading relationship is worth more than £27bn and the UK is the second-largest investor in Africa, with over £21bn of investment. With the UK’s position in the world on the cusp of major changes, what does the future hold for UK-Africa trade and investment relations?

The Royal African Society and the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Africa will be joined by Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Africa, Emma Wade-Smith (based in Pretoria), who will provide an intimate briefing to parliamentarians of the APPG and select external guests of the Royal African Society on the latest developments in shaping the future of UK-Africa trade and investment.

The briefing will be followed by moderated discussion with guests in a relaxed roundtable format. The meeting will be chaired by Chi Onwurah MP, Chair of the APPG for Africa.

This is a closed event open to Corporate and RAS members only.
