The Royal African Society’s ‘Economies to Watch’ series brings you one of the most exciting economic growth profiles in Africa!

Dr Clare Akamanzi, CEO of the Rwanda Development Board will join us on Thursday, 19th September, to discuss Rwanda’s recent economic progress and plans for the future, as well as Rwanda’s perspective on regional and continental economic developments, including the East African Community and the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Dr Clare Akamanzi is a Rwandan lawyer, public administrator, businesswoman and politician, who has served as the executive director and chief executive officer of the Rwanda Development Board, since 4 February 2017.

The Economies to Watch series is designed to draw the attention of London-based businesses to the African continent’s most dynamic economies, to understand better what opportunities for trade and investment exist, and provide guidance on how to take up these opportunities.

This is a closed event open to Corporate and RAS members only.
