On 14th April 2015, we will be recording a challenging interview with Dr Obiageli Ezekwesili, co-Founder of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, former Education Minister of Nigeria, and former Vice President of the World Bank’s Africa division.

The interview will be recorded for the Al Jazeera television show Head to Head, which is hosted by Mehdi Hasan. It will be filmed in front of an audience at the Oxford Union in Oxford, UK, and will be followed by an audience Q&A section.

Mehdi Hasan will challenge Obiageli Ezekwesili on the rise of Nigeria as a regional and global power. Is Nigeria the next superpower? Will it survive Boko Haram? Has enough been done to fight corruption? And have World Bank policies helped or hurt Africa?

Please arrive at the Oxford Union no later than 7pm to be seated, and recording begins at 7.30pm. The interview is expected to finish by 9pm. Tickets are free of charge, but spaces are limited so please book your ticket via Eventbrite ASAP.
