Women empowerment through “Women Building Communities” is to enhance the participation of African women in community development projects. It aims to encourage women in African communities to be involved in community development projects and to persuade African women in diaspora and those in leadership positions to support these women by working with them on projects that will bring positive changes to the lives of ordinary people within the communities, address issues affecting women, youths and MDGs.

Who Should Attend?

The event is for African women in key public positions, in diaspora,  women leaders, women cooperative societies,community women, women developmental officers, women in politics, civil societies, NGOs, women involved in project policy issues and planning and development organizations and any woman who will like to see sustainable development in her community.
