African Society of Cambridge University (ASCU) invites you to celebrate Africa Day with a programme showcasing the best Africa has to offer. The conference will feature African speakers making waves across the continent and around the world. In the morning, African fashion, media representations and history will be up for discussion, as we look to the African past and present. Following a lunch of dishes from across the continent, delegates will engage with questions of Africa’s future – the role of women in transforming the continent, business and Africa’s place in the wider world.
