Film Africa Young Audiences – building future audiences for African cinema!

 

We believe that film is a key educational tool. Through Film Africa Young Audiences we bring the rich tapestry of African narratives, cultures and experiences to young learners and help to build future audiences for African and world cinema. 

 

We work in partnership with cinemas to host film screenings for primary, secondary, university students and youth groups. Drawing on our festival offering, our programme includes short films, features, animation, and documentaries.

 

Our screenings feature live introductions and interactive discussions and are accompanied by learning resources specially designed to enhance engagement, boost literacy skills and provoke critical thinking.
